It’s time for another favourites post beauties, and this one sure came around quick! It feels like I was celebrating the New Year only yesterday, and somehow three months has passed since then! A whole quarter of a year! I have some great things to talk about from March, so let’s get to it.
Makeup Revolution Banana Powder
Yes, another MUR product. No, these are probably never going to stop being in my favourites posts, because I’ve never been disappointed by this brand! The banana powder was released quite a while ago now but I only recently got my hands on it, and although it does take a while to get used to it’s great for hiding under-eye circles. It doesn’t smell like bananas though, unfortunately. Get the powder here.
NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel
Up until last month I’d been using Benefit’s Ready Set Brow, which is a great product. However, I recently decided to start using only cruelty-free makeup/cosmetic brands. I’ll probably end up doing a lengthier post on that decision at a later date, but as a result I’ve gotten rid of all my Benefit & Rimmel products (since they were the only non-cruelty free brands I used.) I desperately needed a replacement for my brow gel, and went to asos and saw NYX made a brow gel for only £6 (an incredible saving compared to the £18 I’d have paid for Benefit’s gel!) The quality is great, equally as good, if not better than the gels I’d used before. Definitely highly recommended. You can buy this gel here.
I had a bit of a decor blitz recently and essentially took down all of the pictures I had on my wall. I wanted to go for a more minimal-appearance, as I feel this really helps make a room look bigger. I did still want something to go above my bed, and thought this gorgeous LED light from New Look would be great. It runs on batteries, which isn’t too much of an inconvenience since I won’t have it turned on every night. You can order it here.
Coconut Lane Marble Notebooks
It’s no secret that I’m guilty of hoarding notebooks, but they are so handy for planning out blog posts and making to-do lists for college work. These Coconut Lane ones are especially great as they have plain paper, which means they can be filled with almost anything. You can also get 20% off your order using the code ’emmadrury20!’ Shop notebooks here.
Select Laced Detail Graphic Print Bodysuit
I featured a couple of bodysuits from Select in my wardrobe refresh posts, but didn’t mention this third bodysuit I bought last month that I’m seriously obsessed with. the lace up detailing is so chic, and means this bodysuit would be great for a casual look or for a night out. It was also a great price, and fits really well. You can buy it here.
Boohoo Denim Sock Boots
I picked up these sock boots in the sale towards the end of the month for only £12, and they are so comfy and look amazing. The colour is a little darker than it seems on boohoo’s site, but are great for pairing with denim of any colour. You can buy these boots here.
