I recently got invited to a super fun event in Birmingham with the incredible jewellery and accessories brand Stella & Dot. Although I’m based in Nottinghamshire, I simply couldn’t pass-up the opportunity to attend and get to see some of their gorgeous pieces as well as meet some of their fabulous stylists and other amazing bloggers!
I’ll start off by giving you guys some outfit details, as I really loved my outfit for the event (if I say so myself!) This gorgeous embroidered bag and floral embroidered boots are from Primark; I can’t remember the exact price but I think they were both around £10-15, and really made my outfit extra cute. I added a little glam with a choker, also from Primark, for £1.50. My jumpsuit is from boohoo and was on sale for £12, and is so comfortable!
The event was at a super chic restaurant and bar called The Pig & Tail in Birmingham, where we were greeted by the fabulous Stella & Dot team with a glass of prosecco and a smile. We were given a brief explanation about who the company are, what their mission is and then had a few of their really amazing pieces explained in terms of the design and inspiration behind them.
I can safely say there wasn’t a single piece of jewellery at the event that wasn’t stunning. Even some of the more simple pieces had such unique stories behind their designs and would make an excellent addition to any outfit.
My favourite pieces at the event were easily the incredible selection of rings on show. I fell in love with one particular ring that S&D kindly offered to gift to me (and I’ve been eagerly waiting by my door for its arrival since!) and I was shocked to learn it’s only £35! All of the jewellery available from Stella & Dot is incredibly affordable, but is still great quality and looks a lot more expensive!
Another one of my favourite things about the jewellery from Stella & Dot is that all of their pieces are nickel free. As someone who often suffers with sore ears after wearing cheap earrings, I’m so excited to know about an affordable, high quality brand that I can wear all the time without having to worry about turning green!
I also got the chance to meet some of the brand’s incredible stylists as well as loads of other Midlands bloggers, who were all super friendly and made my stay in Birmingham extra fun! At the end of the night we were given really cute goodie bags, and I got a stunning gold bangle, a cute clutch bag and some sunglasses that are perfect for the hot weather we’re having in the UK right now!
