e.l.f. Cosmetics Bubble Mask Review

e.l.f. Cosmetics Bubble Mask Review

Hey lovelies! This review was requested by a friend of mine, who wanted to know what I thought of the different face masks that are currently trending online! I’ve not actually tried many of the new face masks, including bubble masks, so decided to try this great mask from e.l.f. which also came with a handy applicator brush for just £20!

For those who don’t know, a bubble mask is designed to hydrate your skin as well as cleanse your pores to help you achieve gorgeous glowing skin. What’s special about a bubble mask is that after it’s applied it begins to form a foam similar to the sort of bubbles you’d see in your bath after using a bubble bar, hence the name bubble mask.

I have no previous experience using bubble masks so this was a completely new experience for me. The mask was relatively easy to apply, and the packaging allows for good quantity control so you don’t use too much. This mask can easily be applied with your fingers, but the spatula brush that I bought as well came in handy, and is double ended to make sure the mask is properly blended and spread onto the face.

After applying the mask my skin immediately felt tingly, it’s a very strange sensation but definitely wasn’t uncomfortable and was actually more soothing than I expected. The mask also smelt really great which is a huge bonus! I didn’t prep my skin in anyway before using the mask except making sure I’d removed my makeup and my face was dampened using a wash cloth and warm water, this allows the mask to absorb into your skin and really get at your pores.

After the recommended time of 10 minutes, I gently washed the mask off using warm water and immediately saw a difference. My skin was softer and looked a lot more nourished and healthy. There wasn’t a huge difference to my pores, but I think after using this a couple of times a week I’d see a much greater difference.

The packaging for this product is clean and simple, it looks like a luxury skincare product and has the effects of one too! I especially liked the way the top of the tub is pushed down to release the product; it means the product won’t dry out and you can easily control how much you get out of the tub whilst using it.

The price of this product is also great, you get a lot of product in the tub which means it will last a long time and the added brush is great for easy application. If I’d have guessed how much this product was worth before purchasing I’d have probably said between £30-£40, so at £20 it’s definitely worth it!

Overall this mask is fantastic for leaving you feeling refreshed and clean, and is definitely going to become a part of my regular skincare routine!

Oh no!! That always happens to me too! You’ll have to pick it up with your next order – thankfully they usually have some sort of deal on for free delivery! 🙂

I’ve been meaning to try this makes by ELF. I have sensitive skin, do you think the product could cause a breakout or rash?

Check out my post on the EL foundation, I’d love it if yiu left your thoughts in the comments!

As far as I know this mask is fine on sensitive skin (although the tingling sensation might feel slightly more odd to you!)
