Christmas is over, but naturally I’m not going to stop talking about it. I mean, I was going to post this before Christmas, but then life happened and now I’m posting it after coming down with a hideous cold, and whilst burrito-rolled into my duvet. If you don’t follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you probably aren’t aware that me and my blogger pals decided to do Secret Santa at the beginning of November.
We used a random website to pick the names for us via email, and then exchanged our addresses in our group chat (if any of these girls decide to murder me one day, I’ve made it significantly easier for them. But hey, it’s Christmas!)
For my secret santa I got Gemma, who’s a totally rad mama bear as well as the coolest flatlay photographer I know, and I decided to get her a present that both her and her little boy Reuben could enjoy over Christmas. You can read all about it over on her blog (where I’m sure she’s totally gushed over how I’m the best santa she’s ever known!)
My secret santa turned out to be my lovely gal pal Chloe, which I managed to decipher from the fact my presents were beautifully wrapped in brown paper & were delivered inside a Glossier box (Classic Chloe!) She did sign my card “from santa” though, so commendations to her for trying to puzzle me anyway!
As well as being beautifully wrapped, my gifts inside were on their own level of beauty (because they’re both beauty gift sets – see what I did there?!) Chloe treated me to a super cute Sleek matte minis gift set, which includes four must-have shades (Birthday Suit, Rioja Red, Velvet Slipper & Old Hollywood.) I’m so obsessed with these four shades, they’re the perfect size for on-the-go application & are perf for this time of the year.
She also treated me to the amazing Soap & Glory Get A Smooth On gift set, which contains the Righteous Butter Body Moisturiser and the Flake Away Body Polish, both of which are bound to leave me skin feeling irresistibly smooth this winter. I adore Soap & Glory skincare so Chloe’s done a fab job picking this gift!
I really loved her cute little card too, and the bonus that the company that made it support Macmillan Cancer Support, which is a charity very close to my heart. Chloe also won the prize of being my first card to be received this year, which I’m sure she’ll enjoy knowing.
Overall I wanna give a massive shoutout & thank you to Chloe, she’s really made Christmas extra special for me this year with these fantastic gifts, and I hope whoever got her for secret santa was equally as generous!
