With every new holiday or seasonal event, comes another Lush haul. I’ve not tried any of Lush’s Easter goodies before – usually because I’m always broke during the month of April! – but this year the lovely folk on the Lush PR team sent me loads of fun bits to try out!
Bunch Of Carrots Bubble Bar, £6.50
I’ve wanted to try this cute bundle of bubble bars since I first saw them in last years Easter collection, so I was beyond buzzed to receive them this year! For £6.50 these are one of the best value products I’ve seen from Lush; each carrot has a fun unique colour and they all smell incredible; they all contain buchu oil which is both highly cleansing and fragrant! Easily my new favourite vegetable.
Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt, £4.95
Oh man, this is one glittery bath product. I’m so glad Lush have finally mastered the art of glitter bombs that rinse out easily, because this egg sure would’ve left your bath looking like the inside of a treasure chest for days otherwise! This bath melt has a very sweet scent and turns your water a funky golden colour; if you’re a fan of shiny things and smelling great then this is definitely for you.
Cream Egg Bubbleroon, £3.75
The first thing I smelt when I opened my box of goodies was the peppermint from this little egg. Despite being the smallest product I received, it sure knows how to stand out! As always, Lush made sure sure to fill this gem with loads of moisturising ingredients, and it is guaranteed to leave you craving mint chocolate.
Which Came First? Bath Bomb, £6.95
This might just be the biggest bath bomb I’ve ever seen. It smells of one of my favourite things; grapefruit, and is super fun to watch dissolve, creating a blend of pinks, yellows and oranges. This bomb works perfectly with one of the carrot bars, or on its own.
Here Comes The Sun Shower Cream, £9.75
Say goodbye to all that horrible snow and hello to this amazingly zingy shower cream! Lush’s new naked shower creams are amazing, they help the environment by having no nasty plastic packaging and smell totally scrumptious! Here Comes The Sun contains avocado oil to help moisturise the skin, and mandarin and orange juice to create a gorgeous citrusy scent. These can be a little tricky to lather on first use, but once you’ve used them a couple times they’re just as good as a regular shower cream.
Wash Behind Your Ears Shampoo Bar, £6.50
This is potentially my favourite product out of the ones I received. I’ve never tried a shampoo bar before, but after testing this cute bunny-inspired bar out I might never go back to liquid shampoos again! It was so much easier to lather than I expected, and left my hair smelling incredible! This particular bar contains lemon oils, giving it a citrus fragrance, and also contains rosewood oil and carrot oil to help leave your hair shiny and soft! I can’t wait to pick up another shampoo bar after trying this one!
