This week I spent a couple of nights in Paris, specifically spending most of my time in the most magical place on Earth. I went to Disneyland with some of my fave gals, including my blogger bestie Chloe. I hadn’t been to Disney in the longest time, and it’s now packed with even more things for me to love since Disney started producing Star Wars and Marvel films! We went during the Summer of Heroes, so naturally, I planned my outfits to be as geek chic as I physically could – and going on a trip with a blogger means you’re guaranteed to end up with a billion photos of your outfits – so I put together a small Disney Dressing Lookbook, featuring my outfits for the trip.
Does Whatever A Spider Can
Our first day in the park was only a half day, so we decided to tackle the Walt Disney Studios Park, since it’s the smaller of the two parks at Disneyland. After hearing about the passing of Marvel legend Steve Ditko just before we went, and it being the Summer of Heroes, I felt it necessary to make my first outfit Spidey themed. I’ve had this Spider-Man crop top for ages now, it’s super retro and the best way to show my love for my favourite hero. I paired this outfit with my handmade Winnie The Pooh themed ears from Geek Closet on Etsy, which are incredibly well made and well worth the price!
Magic of The Mouse
It’s not a Disney Lookbook without a classic Mickey Mouse themed outfit! Our second day in the park started at 10am, and we knew right away this day that we were going to meet Mickey. I bought some classic Minnie Mouse ears before we took a trip down Main Street USA – which Mickey really enjoyed when we got to meet him! Chloe actually bought me this ribbed stripey crop top from Primark for my Birthday this year – it’s a perfect subtle Disney tee with a cute embroidered Mickey patch. I wore my favourite Monki black jean shorts with this top, as they’re super stretchy and easy to walk around in all day! I used my funky Mickey Mouse backpack from Primark as my park bag, and also picked up a ticket lanyard from one of the Disney stores in the park to complete my outfit.
This pic was snapped shortly before we realised you’re not actually supposed to sit on the bonnet of the car outside Annette’s Diner – but rest assured my big booty didn’t leave any damage on this beauty! My outfit for the evening on our second day featured the same black jean shorts – these things are seriously comfort and to be honest I’m glad I didn’t take them off for pretty much the entire trip! I paired this with this super fun Leia Pin-up Star Wars t-shirt from EMP & and my retro bumbag from H&M. Since we were only out for a few hours for food and to watch the illuminations, comfort was key for this outfit!
