I was recently sent an incredible PR package from Unicorn Cosmetics (you can watch the unboxing on my Instagram highlights here!) that was truly full of magic. The packing is super enchanting – they sent me some stunning lashes to test out and a full set of Unicorn brushes!
I was sent four different sets of lashes; Honey Bee, Flammie, Clementine & Lady Bug. Each set is super luxurious – they’re all faux silk and although the brand do offer Mink lashes I specifically asked not to receive any of those as I don’t consider them cruelty free! The brush set is also 100% vegan and cruelty free – the brushes are super soft and come in a chic diamond-shaped holder!
This lash set is the most lowkey of the four – not quite natural, but adding just the right of glamour to your natural lashes. They’re evenly distributed throughout the lash line, getting smaller towards the inner corner like natural lashes would. I think these lashes would work perfectly with a sultry smoky eye and a simple winged liner.
These lashes are similar to Honey Bee, but a lot thicker and fuller in volume. These would be great for a slightly bolder look, with block colours and a bright winged liner.
These lashes are lot more unique and quirky than the other three – they have a different distribution pattern than natural lashes, with a set of longer lashes distributed in between shorter ones. These would be perfect with a bold, more dramatic look!
These are the thickest, longest and fullest of the lashes. Super dramatic and bold, a full glam look is definitely needed to work these lashes.
Revamped Brush Set
I’m so in love with these unicorn-inspired brushes, from their swirled unicorn-horn handles to their rainbow bristles. The set includes ten brushes;
