That time of year has arrived – Halloween is nearly here which means it’s time for my annual tradition of posting a Lush Halloween Haul! This year Lush sent me* some amazing new products to try out, and they’re all super spooky and fun!
Ghost In The Dark Soap – £5.95
This ghostly little guy is absolutely adorable – he contains Begamot Oil, which is cleansing and uplifting and provides a sweet, citrusy scent. He’s easy to lather up, is super kind to your skin & even glows in the dark! I can’t get over how good this Soap bar smells, and leaves skin feeling irresistibly soft!
Ectoplasm Shower Scream – £5.50
I love Lush’s shower creams, they’re so good at hydrating and moisturising the skin and they smell divine. Ectoplasm contains Grapefruit Juice, which is cleansing and great for toning the skin; Tangerine Oil, which is uplifting and provides a great citrus scent to this neon goo, and almond oil, which is fantastic for conditioning the skin.
Bewitched Bubble Bar – £4.95
Everybody wants to be a cat, right?! This purrrfect little bubble bar is great for unwinding after a long day of hexing and brewing potions (or just a 9-5 shift at the office!) It contains Burgamot oil, giving it a light citrus scent, but also has hints of blackberries with some woody undertones. Even though this is a smaller bar, it can be used in halves and creates a great amount of bubbles.
Eyeball Bath Bomb – £4.95
I had my eye on this bath bomb the moment this year’s Halloween range was launched – pun intended. It contains rose and lavender, which are both soothing and uplifting and of course provide a stunning floral scent. There’s also some orange oil thrown in for a citrusy undertone, and Ylang-Ylang Oil to add a sweetness to this scent. The bath art formed from this bomb is definitely it’s selling-point; swirls of deep red and white are reminiscent of those old Campino sweets you used to get as a kid, soon turn into a much darker, bubbling red that’s akin to a witch’s cauldron bubbling away. The end result is, to be blunt, a bit of a blood bath, with the strong red tones seeping through a misty layer of foam on top.
